What to expect at A Princess Bride

A Princess Bride Couture



A Princess Bride Couture has been helping brides find their dream wedding dress for over 20 years.  We are a nationally recognized full service bridal salon and feature wedding dresses from over 10 different designers, bridal accessories, and special occasion dresses.

Our goal is to create a personal shopping experience for each bride and her bridal party. 

Here are a few common questions answered for you before you start shopping!

Why do we require appointments?

We want to give each bride the one-on-one attention and care we know she needs and deserves.  During an appointment with A Princess Bride Couture one of our knowledgeable and expert consultants will be available to help you find and try on a variety of wedding dresses, explain the fit and style of each gown, and find your dream wedding dress.

Who should you bring to your appointment?

We recommend bringing no more than 3-4 people to your appointment.  It’s always nice to get some feedback from family members and close friends.  We do welcome larger parties, but our most successful appointments are small handful of people.  

How long does it take to order a dress?

Standard delivery for any special order wedding dress is 5-7 months.  This time frame does not include time for alterations. 

What does “Ready to Wear” mean?

All of our gowns, accessories, and special occasion dresses are “ready to wear,” eliminating the need to wait for an order to come in.  Our experience has taught us that wedding dresses and bridal gowns require some alteration work—even when specially ordered.  Standard alterations includes side seams, a hem, and a bustle.  We work with an expert in house seamstress who has worked on wedding dress alterations for over 20 years

New York City!

 Justin Alexander with Kathy, the owner of A Princess Bride and Terry, his right hand lady!

A Princess Bride Couture was invited by the Justin Alexander team to come view the new Justin Alexander 2013 line in New York City! The weekend started off with a viewing of the gorgeous new dresses with intricate detailing, delicate lace and beautiful embellishments that wowed the crowd!

After the fashion show everyone got to experience New York by celebrating this new exciting bridal year on a yacht on the water. New York's skyline welcomed them with beautiful sights like the new Freedom Tower, the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island!

A Princess Bride is very proud of the personal relationships we have built with our vendors and Justin Alexander and his team always impress us with their ability to keep things interesting and unique year after year. We can't wait until these gorgeous new gowns arrive in the store this fall!
