The perfect veil for your dream dress

So you've found your perfect dream dress.  How do you accessorize it? What veils match the dress, what will it look like?

A couple weeks ago we had the chance to pair some of our favorite dresses with a veil.  We are so pleased with how each of these photos turned out.  A special thank you to Cheryl, Hannah, Ivy, and friend.

Below is a brief description of the dress, and veil that works really well with the gown. As well as another that is still beautiful, but not the perfect match.

                                                                           Dress 1:
                                                                    Pronovias Ontina

Veil by Pronovias

 Why it works:
The Ontina has small gemstones that make the dress sparkle and the veil picks-up the same bead work.  The veil “sits” beautifully on the dress and almost becomes part of it.

 Veil by Bel Aire

Why it doesn't work:
The dress is made up of beautiful crochet and embroidery lace appliques .  While this veil has a vintage feel, but the laces  don’t match.  Additionally, this fingertip veil ends up creating a harsh line on the back of the dress instead of blending in.

  Dress 2:
San Patrick Asia

Veil by Pronovias
Why it works:
The softness of the veil compliments the softness of the dress.  From the back this dress appears more simple, but the applique detail on the veil really stands out.  Finally the veil doesn't hide or over shadow the details and playful hem of the dress.

Veil by Pronovias
Why it doesn't work:
From the front, this veil and dress actually aren't a bad match, however, from the back it is a less than a perfect match.  The veil winds up making the dress and bride look heavier from the back.
